Sundresses are the new bridal gowns for grown-ups!

Recently heard that Alley McBeal married Harrison Ford in a white sundress. Told you these were pure and sexy.

"According to People magazine, the bride wore a white sundress and the groom put on his best pair of Wrangler jeans..."

Wedding package dot org showed off alot of its new bridal dresses, even describing them as sundresses. Seems that we have gone from the Princess Diana era extravaganza where all brides wanted to the the princess for a day, to a focus on the ceremony itself. Hopefully.

There is a recent question even, what to wear to a wedding in a tropical climate? Any guesses?

It is even official, I found an ettiquete column that states that it is okay to wear a sundress as wedding attire. It is right there in black and white.

But doing so involves some logistics, some heavy lifting, and a whole lot of trust. Trust that the people who are so far away will get it right. That they will do what you want, and not what is most convenient for them.

Sundress ala MuMu

I have been a busy bee. One of my suppliers has a preexisting line of mumus that are almost formal wear.

I always thought of the mumu as being a kind of sickwear for hospital stays and overweight (but adored) aunts that love gardening.

No longer.

These things are exquisite.

In looking around at the starlets strutting on red carpet affairs or another, I am seeing alot of... mumus! 

These slinky, form-fitting tubes are technically mumus. And being worn by celebrities.

While everyone loves a smiling young woman in a simple sundress, it seems that the mumu has overstepped.

There is a band out there that is pretty cool.

Sundresses from Jamaica and the Caribbean

It is the beginning of the season and I have HUGE news! I have a supplier that has the latest ethno-cool dress that is going to be very much in demand by the fairer sex.

He has agreed to supply my site http://www.sundresses.net with a supply of Jamaica dresses (he does already) but the lineup will be expanding here and into its own little online niche-salon-come-store.

Men Prefer Sundresses Over Other Apparel

In a recent study of what men aged 16 to 70 find sexy on a woman, a whopping 43% were attracted to a woman in a sundress!

Only 30% liked the jeans look and a measly 24% preferred a formal dress!

Men are attracted to the wholesomeness, playfullness and unpretentiousness of a sundress, and are more likely to strike up a conversation.

A good sundress has replaced the famous "little black dress" as a woman's favorite "secret weapon".
